A must-read classic. Written within the context of the (re)birth of radical social movements in the Philippines in the 1960s, provides a still-relevant analysis of  the key problems that plague Philippine society today. Especially helpful in understanding why Philippine immigration to the U.S. is not necessarily “voluntary” but should instead be understood as forced.
